Juror: Daniel Kany
Daniel Kany is an art critic, curator and art dealer. He is a critic
for the Portland Press Herald and his reviews appear weekly in the
Maine Sunday Telegram. Kany has been the Chair of Seattle’s Center on
Contemporary Art and the director of several major art galleries in
Seattle and Sun Valley as well as his own eponymous gallery in
Portland, Maine. Kany has written 6 books and published catalogs – the
most recent of which is “Form & Process: New Paintings by Randy
McCoy.” He will also be giving a gallery talk and discussion sometime during the exhibition.

Artists may submit up to three pieces for the exhibition.
Work is to be delivered to the Coffin House at 170 Main Street – Damariscotta.
Friday, February 19 or Saturday, February 20th 10 AM to 4 PM
Entry fee: $15 members $20 non-members
Only recent works (created in the last 3 years) may be submitted.
All works must be for sale & not previously shown at River Arts
River Arts receives a 35% commission on works sold.
2D work should be limited to 40” h or 40” w. 3D work limited to 50 pounds.
Secure D rings or screw eyes to top two rear corners of piece if it is to hang on the wall
No glass on large framed works. Please use Plexiglas.
Please have digital images of work if possible for use on our web site if your work is accepted.
